I am another sojourner. I love God and want to experience more of what that means everyday. I believe truly living in the presence of God is not about spending more time at church (not that, church is bad), but rather to spend more time aware that God is with me. Over the past few years my prayer has changed from "God be with me" to "God help know you are here". This results in a massive paradigm shift. Spirituality ceases to be about me doing religious stuff and becomes God being part of all that I do. Suddenly, God is in the middle of my work, my hobbies as well as my family, small group, worship leading, time with God. This requires a proactive effort on my part to remain daily in a mindset that places me at the feet of Jesus. Giving Him all that I am and do such that He get glory and teaches me what it means to really be who He made me.
As a result this is a website about my life and how it relates to God. I suppose in a sense it is a catalyst to help me process things in manner that helps me to place my concerns and desires at the feet of Jesus. So whether it be family, woodworking, gardening or church life, to God be the Glory. As I understand more of God may I bask in the splendor of what it means to be loved by God.
