I just bought some Western Maple to build a new bed. Should I stain the new wood to a darker color or leave it natural?

Leave natural let the grain speak for itself
Add a little color but not too much just to bring out the figure
Add a medium color to match the Mission style
Add a dark and rich color to emphasize the wood
